Dr. Bruno Lopes Dalmazo

Short Bio: Bruno L. Dalmazo received the Ph.D. degree in Information Science and Technology from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, in 2018, the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, in 2011, and the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil, in 2008. He is an Associate Professor at the Center for Computational Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and supervises M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. He is also a Research Professor at the Embrapii iTec/FURG Unit in Robotics and Automation, where he coordinates research, development and innovation (RD&I) projects in collaboration with industry, supported by national public funding agencies and industrial partners. His research focuses on computer networks, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, fuzzy systems, intelligent network management, anomaly detection, and data-driven optimization methods. His work integrates fundamental research with technological innovation, contributing to scientific publications, technology transfer, intellectual property generation, and the development of intelligent and trustworthy solutions for cybersecurity, network management, and industrial applications.
